His current confidence level looks low, impatient, and a bit defeated.

Doubt in his efforts – like he’s put time or energy into the conflict and isn’t seeing the return he expected

Frustration – he may feel like things aren’t growing the way he thought they would

Impatience – he’s questioning if it’s even worth the time, effort or resources

Second-guessing himself – “Did I waste my time? Should I even continue?”
